manifesto
book
a number of sheets of paper, parchment, etc. imprinted with words and/or pictures, fastened together along one edge, usually between protective covers.
a primary vehicle for information and ideas for millennia.
our love.
literature
writing considered as having permanent value, excellence of form, great emotional effect, etc.
a product of the imagination able to breathe life into the impossible, to give color to faded corners of consciousness, to bring understanding to the unknown.
our passion.
who we are
we are kristopher o'higgins and jesse vogel. we are literary agents. what we've done
what we do
a full-service literary agency, we champion you and your work. we take your writing to the literary marketplace and turn your literature into books. what we've done
why?
because we have to. because every time some turgid piece of garbage gets published, a little piece of our entire culture dies—and we can only take so much dying. because the bar cannot be raised high enough. because the written word must be read, shared, celebrated. because we love it. because true literary merit is worth more than any amount of dollars. because two guys in the middle of wisconsin will make a difference. because through words, through literature, the world can change. because if we only ever have one author, with one book, it would be worth it. because we can. because we must.
